Just wanting to provide a personal update about where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to lately, as I’ve not been posting as much as I used to. Essentially, it’s been work and uni, work and uni. Until I finish my degree, I cannot fully function in the capacity of a Kemetic scribe, as I would like to. I realise that now. The whole ‘I can do it all, be it all and have it all’ attitude has been reduced to, ‘let me eat, let me sleep and leave me alone.’ Additionally, in my profession, it’s also nice to pee when you want to, as well. Life goals!
I’ve got part two of a book review on Profane Egyptologists in the pipeline, with more books I’m yearning to read, plus a few Subjective Mystical Experiences and Encounters to expand on. Please look for those in the near future. Ancient Egypt and Kemeticism are literally inexhaustible worlds to explore. I’m always left with the feeling of just scratching the surface every time I have a new experience, or read about someone else’s or lean something new about ancient Egypt. That’s why I love it so much.
Oh, speaking of love, I got engaged! My partner, Aerohne and I were on holidays in the Whitsundays in January 2022, when I popped the question. We were surrounded by beautiful turquoise water, white sands, and friends were all around us. It was a memorable day and a truly magnificent location. A location, I sensed, that has its own gods. As a sensitive, the nature spirits and deities I encountered there deserve a post all their own. It was unlike anything I’ve seen so far. It made me realise just how important it is for me to visit Egypt one day, because the wonders of the physical reality that remains there, would be just the start.
That’s about it from this Kemetic scribe for now. As always, thank you for reading Kemetic Blog. I hope you find an interesting perspective here on the Kemetic mindset and reality. I’ll be back with updates ASAP!
